Right from its first edition Jazzmi is already "The jazz festival" in Milan. 10 days of jazz concerts and events scattered around the city, spacing from huge stages to hidden locations rarely reached by music. Ottodesign was requested to create the logo for the festival, a simple and versatile mark but very incisive and with a strong identity.
The logo was followed by a graphic identity created around an illustration donated to the festival by the painter/jazz musician John Lurie.
Its strong colours and typography style was also used for all communication materials, from the concert programs, to the posters to the direction signs …
